Mediumship is to make connections with those who have passed.  I connect through various 'Spirit Guides' who enable me to 'link'.  Before attending a Mediumship session, you may have certain hopes or expectation to 'link' with a specific person but it may be the case that someone you didn't expect comes through.  There is no guarantee of a connection at all...I am at the mercy of the 'other side' and they are not at my, nor anyone else's beck and call though I always endeavor to establish desired connections.
